Itinerary

Morning Departure:
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Moshi. After a 1.5-hour scenic drive east, passing through vibrant landscapes and rural villages, you’ll arrive at Lake Challa—Tanzania’s hidden natural wonder.

Hike to the Lake:
Upon arrival, we’ll start our guided hike along the crater rim, offering breathtaking views of the deep-blue lake below. The trail, which winds through beautiful savanna woodlands, takes approximately 45 minutes and leads down to the sparkling lakeshore. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the area’s unique geology, flora, and fauna.

Time at the Lake:

Swimming: Dive into the cool, crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim.

Kayaking: (Optional) Rent a kayak and paddle across the calm surface, enjoying the novelty of crossing the Tanzania-Kenya border right on the water!
