Itinerary

Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Your journey begins as you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our friendly team will greet you with warm Tanzanian hospitality. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha, where your safari guide will brief you on the adventure ahead. Spend the evening at leisure, preparing for an exciting start to your safari.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Kick off your adventure with an early breakfast before departing for the Tarangire National Park, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Famous for its massive herds of elephants and towering baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique landscape and rich biodiversity.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives along the Tarangire River, a vital water source attracting zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and over 500 bird species, making it a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike.

Savor a picnic lunch amidst the park’s stunning scenery before continuing your exploration. By late afternoon, head to Karatu, a charming town on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at your selected lodge or campsite.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Moshi

Start your day with breakfast and an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking volcanic caldera teeming with wildlife, offering unparalleled game-viewing opportunities.

Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, home to over 30,000 animals, including the Big Five—rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Keep your camera ready to capture sights of wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and even cheetahs against the backdrop of the lush green crater.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning landscapes before making your way back to Arusha/Moshi in the afternoon, where your safari adventure concludes.

Departure Day: Farewell to Tanzania

Take time to relax and reflect on your incredible journey. Depending on your flight schedule, explore nearby towns for souvenirs or cultural experiences before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. If you have an evening flight, you can seamlessly head home on the same day.
