Itinerary

Arrival Day: Welcome to Tanzania

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our team will warmly welcome you. Relax as you are transferred to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha, where your guide will provide an overview of the safari. Spend the rest of the day unwinding and preparing for the thrilling days ahead.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its breathtaking scenery and incredible biodiversity. Enjoy a day filled with wildlife viewing, where you’ll encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, hippos, and flamingos in the park’s serene hippo pool. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, though sightings are rare and special.

Enjoy a picnic lunch amid the park’s lush landscapes before continuing your adventure. By late afternoon, you’ll head to your charming lodge or campsite, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater

After a hearty breakfast, set off for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into this awe-inspiring volcanic caldera, often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden, for a full day of exploration.

Marvel at the dense wildlife population, including the Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. Spot hippos lounging in the pools, zebras grazing alongside wildebeest, and predators like hyenas and cheetahs in their natural habitats. Enjoy your picnic lunch surrounded by the breathtaking crater views before concluding your game drive in the late afternoon. Retire to your nearby lodge or campsite for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park – Arusha/Moshi

Start the day with breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, a short distance from your accommodation. This park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, known for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and thriving populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes. The Tarangire River, a lifeline for the park’s wildlife, creates unforgettable game-viewing opportunities.

Savor a picnic lunch amidst the picturesque landscapes before embarking on your final game drive. By late afternoon, return to Arusha/Moshi, where your safari concludes.

Departure Day: Farewell to Tanzania

Take this day to relax and reflect on your unforgettable journey. Depending on your flight schedule, explore the nearby town for souvenirs or cultural experiences before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport. If your flight departs in the evening, you can seamlessly head home after your safari.
